I am a songwriter, recording artist and author. I began writing my own music at around the age of 13 and am now a senior in the field of Pop and Rock & Roll at age...Well let's just say over 60. I started playing guitar at 13 and in numerous cover bands including The Delques, Shapes of Sound, The Coming Generation and The Back Door Blues Band, throughout my teens and early twenties.

After marrying, I drifted away from the music scene and went corporate. Married 46 plus years and working for 32, I ended my corporate career at a major northeast energy company as a Human Resources Director.

I underwent open-heart surgery at the age of 49 and at that point realized that should I have died, my music would have died with me. As soon as I recovered from the surgery, I established my own recording studio, 'Shedd Studios' in Levittown, New York and began to record layered tracks of all the songs I had written, playing all of the instruments and doing all of the vocals. That's right! Just me. Currently I am without a band. The instruments and vocals on my CDs were all recorded one track at a time.

I even began writing again. I have recorded 26 CDs to date. This accomplishment is a major milestone in my life marking 260 songs that I have written, arranged, recorded and produced plus 2 additional I wrote for a young singer/dancer by the name of Kaylie Renee Smith. My music is a combination of Retro-Rock with present day influences. It's Classic Rock, Pop/Rock, Blues & Country with touches of Dance and Jazz. My primary influences at the start were Elvis & The Everly Brothers but it was the Beatles that influenced me the most. Current influences include Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, Matchbox 20 & The Fray. My music reflects my inner thoughts, desires and feelings. In short it is what I feel and what I have experienced throughout my life.
